Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American actor and performer who made her name with smart raps that addressed sexuality and racial identities with an edgy, comical perspective. Her career then grew into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. In the following years, she took up the classical and hip-hop genres. While at school, she majored in journalism and women's studies in college even learning Mandarin in Beijing for a time. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she finished her studies. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. This album also featured viral hits such as the body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour New York Bitche$. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. A musician and author was in her portfolio, she decided to determined to pursue acting in a third project. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, she landed a number of breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
