Andrea Joy Cook, popularly known as A.J. Cook is an internationally acclaimed Canadian actress. Her most well-known role is her work on the CBS police crime drama Criminal Minds where she portrays the Supervisory Special Agent, also known as Jennifer Jareau. It has run since 2005 which was in 2017. The program is currently in the 13th season. Cook was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario Canada. Cook has always been interested in acting. In the TV show Goosebumps in the 1990s, she had a small role to start her career. Her film debut was the drama The Virgin Suicides, released in 1999. It was however unsuccessful. The following year the film, she started appearing in American Canadian drama Higher Ground as one of the main characters. She began appearing on the crime detective drama Criminal Minds a few years later, which earned her notoriety and fame. It is to be the greatest work of her career.
